Distributing unsaturated polyester resins and key raw materials — including glycols, anhydrides, and styrene — for composites, marine, construction, and transportation applications.
Overview
Unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) are the backbone of the fiber-reinforced composites industry. Used in everything from boat hulls and wind turbine blades to bathroom fixtures and automotive body panels, UPR-based composites offer an exceptional combination of strength, weight, and cost-effectiveness. Soyventis supplies both the finished resins and the key monomers and intermediates used in their production.
Our UPR portfolio includes orthophthalic, isophthalic, and dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) resins, as well as the critical raw materials that go into them: propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, maleic anhydride, phthalic anhydride, and reactive diluents including styrene and styrene alternatives.
As the composites industry evolves toward low-styrene and styrene-free formulations driven by regulatory and health concerns, Soyventis is actively sourcing alternative reactive diluents and bio-based glycols to support our customers' transition to next-generation UPR systems.
